Set up Data-AlignEd in the order a new school needs it.

Start by loading the best available student readiness data, then add the school’s actual units by grade. Once students are assigned to class sections, teams can generate yearlong curriculum, daily lessons, workbooks, and reports by grade or class.

Upload MAP testing data

Use prior-year MAP data during summer setup, then refresh the data after Fall and Spring testing windows.

Readiness Data Cycle

MAP data should be updated as the year becomes more accurate.

Schools can begin planning with the previous year’s MAP results, then replace or refresh readiness data after students complete the current year’s Fall and Spring MAP tests.

  1. Summer / beginning of year Upload prior-year MAP data so initial curriculum, supports, and grouping are not starting from zero.
  2. Fall MAP update Refresh readiness data after the first MAP test to improve daily lessons, supports, and intervention planning.
  3. Spring MAP update Refresh again around February or March to adjust late-year units, reteach priorities, and extension work.

Run alignment checks after curriculum and lessons are built. Checking course coverage? Use the standards dashboard for gaps, overload, and repeated focus areas.
